Gold at the Crossfield Tournament on Saturday June 13th. It was a fun day for the kids.

2009 Annual General Meeting
Monday evening
June 1, 2009

Bowden Grandview School Library
Rick Nowek, president,
Don Stoesz, vice-president, and
Barb Nowek, treasurer,
will be stepping down this year
as the executive. If there is no one to replace them,
soccer will not be offered in Bowden in 2010. This
annual meeting will be held to see if there is
anyone who would like to
take their place.
Duties of the executive involve:
Registration of players ages 4 – 17 (about 100 players a year)
Keeping financial accounts
Keeping the non-profit status of BMSA current
4 quarterly meetings with Big Country Soccer Association
Olds House League affiliation for Mini-soccer players
Finding coaches, Organizing Referees
Coordinating Field Maintenance
with Chinook School Division, General Trouble-Shooting

The Bowden Minor Soccer Association is in its 13th season. We are seeking new Executive Members for our Board. Although we have been very successful in past years, it is imperative that we seek some "new blood" as without any new Executive Members 2009 (THIS YEAR) WILL BE OUR LAST SEASON!
